Folklore, Myth, and Legend

Aesop : A不發音,e發/ɪ/,o發/ə/ 的音。
               拉丁文字,兩母音或兩個子音,前不發音
                a collection of fables credited to Aesop, a slave and story-teller believed to have lived                                             in ancient Greece between 620 and 560 BCE.
Mytha story about superhuman beings of an earlier age taken by preliterate society to be a true account, usually
          of how natural phenomena, social customs.

LegendAn unverifiable story handed down from earlier times, or a modern story that presents similar 
              characteristics; used in medieval times when telling the life story of a saint.

Folklore: the study of the traditions of a particular people in custom, song, story, belief, etc.




          Men are apt to condemn in others the very things they do themselves.



         When you choose allies, look to their power as well as their will to help you.



         The tyrant will always find a pretext for his tyranny, and it is useless for the innocent to try by reasoning to 
          get justice, when the oppressor intends to be unjust.
